Autumn is upon us and the days are getting pretty dark. What better time to gather for a day of inspiration and community! The fourth Alibis for Interaction Masterclass will take place on November 11th in central Malmö, and as in previous years we offer:

  • Absolutely magical teachers & a conference design for your learning style
  • Tools & concepts to start using directly
  • A community of your peers – people across industries working on issues like yours!

Tickets are available at SEK 1696 + VAT and include the full programme, a lunch, a snack experience and an unending stream of coffee. As always, we’ll be happy to help you book meetings across our vast network of designers, public servants, artists and activists in the days before and after the Masterclass! We will also host an informal, family-style meetup the evening before the Masterclass, where you can get a head start breaking the ice with speakers and other participants.

We’ve given this year’s Masterclass the headline ”Experience Design Your Bottom Line” to remind us that even though alibi design is about creating better environments for human creativity, connection and bravery, what those will ultimately produce is better business. Oxford professor and sensory marketing guru Charles Spence will talk about the workings of consumer neuroscience, and award-winning chef and service designer Zeenath Hasan will teach “mnemonic cooking” to titillate the senses!

Jan Gunnarsson shares the tenets of the Hostmanship movement, which is transforming businesses around the globe through really seeing and caring for the customer. Stine Ringvig Marsal joins us to talk about designing a very intense participatory experience at a grand scale: the security controls AND the shopping environment at Kastrup Airport!
